Tips: Notebook VS Desktop

If the Internet was a global village, then we might as well say that notebooks made a colony. With desktops, things were a click away from us; portable short distance. Now we can carry on our shoulders the colony. High-tech in your lap, perhaps, have nothing to conquer the world of convergence.

The great advantage of notebooks is that it gives us a sense of portability and mobility. Looking critically, portability is the only feature, with more than a notebook desktop so why choose to go to a notebook? Laptops may not bring comfort to your work and not have to worry about all the cables, hardware and space needed to keep a desktop PC. It is also a question of choosing between work and home. You can work from home, when your baby or wife is ill. Comes in a handy notebook then.

The notebook has a role different for different people, but it gives an incredible feeling of freedom. Gone are the days when people walked around with pen and paper. All you need to do today to take notes to buy a laptop. You can write a quick email to a radio station, which is making noise in the name of the music. You can sit in your neighborhood coffee shop and write a book or a letter. But if you want to take your laptop wherever you go, you have to consider the weight of the machine. A laptop weighs 5 to 10 pounds, an ultralight model is even lighter. Whereas, a desktop computer, with its independent CPU, monitor and keyboard, weighs about 70 pounds. A notebook has a lot less space and is also very convenient.

Some of the most famous are portable Sony Vaio, Apple MacBook, Dell Latitude, Toshiba, HP. There are also many affordable versions of notebooks marketed by companies such as Fujitsu, Panasonic, IBM, Asus, etc.

Consider a scenario in which a school, students are quietly seated at their desks and working class without an assignment of teachers to guide them. Is real and is happening in many schools around us. Now, we do not have to mourn our little bear watching pounds of luggage on their backs. This notebook has everything from books to the sale of copies.

When we look at the productive side of the image, which quickly realize that a notebook is always a choice for an employer. Makes his or her employees for greater productivity. Saves critical office space. In any critical moment, a notebook can help you do the job, even when you are not physically present in the office. When traffic is high, and your boss is waiting for the presentation in a conference room, a notebook comes to the rescue. A desktop PC is not freedom for all this good work.

An investigation said that employees with notebooks work more than companies with desktop PCs. A laptop allows you to work from anywhere, while traveling, from a beauty salon, or waiting for someone in a mall. The only drawback is a notebook is its safety, unless doubly ensure robbery. It's easy to pick and elope for anyone in a busy market place. Therefore, to ensure the security of their expensive gadget that makes you feel the world is at your feet and enjoy the power of technology.
